Even Lionel Messi's Opponents Bow Down to Him

Increase Font Reset Decrease Font
Messi and La Abiceleste played a pre-World Cup tuneup match against Trinidad and Tobago on Wednesday night in Buenos Aires. In the pre-game handshake line, Ataullah Guerra of the visiting side didn't clasp hands with the star — he delivered a full-on bow.

Why would one man bow down to another man with whom he was about to compete in a sporting match? Watch this video and it all will make perfect sense.

Of course, Guerra's submissive gesture calls to mind this classic Wayne's World scene.

No player bow down to no one even that person is Lionel Messi. Who is Messi anyway? Did he won World Cup? Although I respect him, he is never going to be the best player unless he wins WC. Remember, other players like Beckham, Rooney, or even Ronaldo, they will just players until they have proven that they belong to elite group like Pele and Maradona, the greatest players of soccer. Come on Messi, Can you prove that good or great? Go ahead win the WC.
